Camellia oleifera is an evergreen small tree belonging to the family Theaceae, and is a unique woody vegetable oil resource in my country. The height of the tree is 3-6 meters, the diameter at breast height can reach 24-30 cm, and the bark is smooth and taupe. Camellia oleifera has alternate single leaves and hermaphroditious white flowers. After blooming in October, the fruit will not mature until October of the following year. Most of the seeds are yellowish brown, shiny and triangular.
Camellia oil is rich in nutrients and contains fatty acids (93% unsaturated fatty acids, including 82% oleic acid and 11% linoleic acid), camellia glycosides, tea polyphenols, saponins, tannins, and horns rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory effects. Storage

Camellia oil is suitable for storage in a cool, dry and dark place, the best temperature is 10-25°C. There will be milky white flocculent crystals at low temperature, which is a normal phenomenon and will not affect consumption. It will disappear naturally when the outside temperature is high (Note: Refined camellia oil will not have this phenomenon after freezing treatment). Because camellia oil has a lot of antioxidants, the shelf life at room temperature can be as long as two years, which is much longer than ordinary edible oils.
Tighten the bottle cap after each use to reduce the time of contact with the air. The camellia oil must be sealed well, and the cap must be tightly tightened to make it tightly sealed. Moreover, the number of times of opening the cover should also be reduced as much as possible, so as to prevent the camellia oil from being exposed to air too much and oxidized.
Camellia oil that has passed the recommended shelf life, turbid camellia oil, and oil that has produced an odor are not suitable for consumption.
